About pheuilleton: pheuilleton is a private, non-commercial, one-person writing project. While most of the texts published here may be reviews of and ramblings on books and films, there is also space for philosophy, art, pop culture, and whatever else takes the author’s fancy. Updated irregularly.
About me: I am a recent university graduate (English and Philosophy) based in Germany. I am pursuing a career as a teacher, but have also dabbled in journalism for a while and generally enjoy writing. I love movies (both silly and thought-provoking ones), books, long walks and food.
About the name: Why “pheuilleton”?
About two more blogs: I can only recommend you also check out Cinemattic, where my friend Matt blogs about all things screen-related – and with much greater frequency than I can aspire to. I would also like to advertise for my friend, The Language Fish, whose blog is brand-new but whose concept is very interesting and worth keeping an eye on.
